We have developed the following pool of resources and guidance for communities involved in community-led planning in their local area.
This was enabled by our community-led planning pilot in the Eastern Borders from November 2023 to August 2024. Although this project has now come to an end this area of our website is a great legacy of the project for the whole of the Borders!

Conversation: Exploring Local Place Plans
In August 2024 SCDC brought some colleagues with expertise in developing local CAPs and LPPs together for a conversation about what is happening in practice and their future potential.
In these six short video Paul Nelis from SCDC, Beth Landon from Borders Community Action and Nick Wright from Nick Wright Planning explore how Local Place Plans can support community aspirations.
