Celebrate the rich and unique diversity of public life in Scotland
The Scottish Public Service Awards celebrate the daily contribution made to Scotland’s civic society from within the civil service, Scottish Government, Scottish Parliament, local government, health and social care sector, broader public sector and their partners within the Third Sector.

The awards are simple to enter, it’s free to take part, and you can enter as many nominations as you like!

Entries close on Monday 3rd October and will be reviewed by our panel of expert judges. All shortlisted nominees will be invited to attend the awards ceremony taking place at the Scottish Parliament on the 7th of December where we will announce the winners.

Campbell Christie Award for Public Service Reform
We’re looking for a team that embodies the spirit of public service reform and is showcasing the exceptional public sector of the future.
Communications Award
This award will recognise the delivery of a highly effective communications campaign, targeting either internal or external stakeholders/audiences.
Community Engagement Award
This award recognises the work of public bodies in ensuring that the communities they serve are fully engaged in the development and delivery of public services in their area.
Commercial Partnerships Award

We’re looking for a team or individual that has demonstrated exemplary commercial practice in order to achieve better outcomes for public bodies.

Championing Diversity & Inclusion Award
We’re looking to celebrate an individual, team, group or network that is initiating and leading action to remove barriers and improve the working experience and engagement levels of all employees.
Digital Public Services Award

This award will recognise the use of technology to deliver improvements in public services to the citizen.

Leadership Award
For an individual who has demonstrated outstanding leadership.
Project & Programme Management Award
This award will recognise good practice in project, programme and portfolio management, and is open to any team or individual.
Sustainability Award
This award will recognise how working together, the transition to a green and more sustainable economy benefits all.
Voluntary Sector Partnership Award
This award will recognise third sector organisations working in partnership with the public sector to deliver a better Scotland.
