This a community outreach project established by Selkirk Parish Church in 2015. At its heart is a community café offered by church and local volunteers, providing a friendly place to “eat well for less”. It’s looking for a part-time Café Manager, 9 hours a week, £14.75 an hour (equivalent to £6903 a year). The post is fixed term for one year iniitally but may be extended if funding allows. Scottish Borders Rape Crisis Centre
Scottish Borders Rape Crisis Centre (SBRCC) is recruiting a Diverse Communities Support Worker (28 hours a week). The salary is £28,753 (pro-rata). The post is funded by the Scottish Government & SBRCC Own Funds until March 2025. SBRCC recognises that survivors accessing its services are not representative of the diverse society in which we live, and it is committed to increasing engagement and participation within diverse intersectional communities. Hawick Congregational Community Church is seeking a part-time Manager/Co-ordinator to deliver its community project Reaching Out. This is a three-year fixed term, post funded by the National Lottery, to be reviewed at the end of each year, subject to funding outcomes being achieved. Salary is £13,408 a year.
