People Know How and Good Things Foundation have just published a new resource Supporting people with data connectivity. This guide is for charities, community groups and organisations that reach and support people struggling to afford internet because of poverty and the cost of living, especially those that are not specialist providers of debt or money advice. 💻 DIGI ken?

Have you spotted CyberScotland’s ‘DIGI Ken’ adverts on the TV which aim to raise awareness of steps that users can take to ensure they stay secure online?

These adverts are based on the NCSC’s Cyber Aware key actions of choosing strong passwords consisting of 3 random words, turning on 2-Step Verification and updating your devices. The advice is easy to follow and will help improve your online security. Learn more here.

Applications are now open for our ground-breaking SCVO Digital Senior Leader programme which explores your role as a charity leader, helping you provide the best service for the people you support.

Voluntary sector organisations working on the prevention of drugs deaths may apply with priority being given to those who can demonstrate a commitment to digital inclusion work – either through past activity, ongoing work or future plans.

SCVO has ten fully funded places available courtesy of the Scottish Government through Digital Lifelines – that’s a saving of £1,000 for participants.
