Thank you to HR GO!

Borders Community Action extends its deepest gratitude and heartfelt appreciation to HR GO Recruitment (“HR GO”) for their incredibly generous donation of furniture to our local charity. This remarkable act of kindness has enabled Borders Community Action to open its new office space.

The donated furniture provided by HR GO comprises desks, chairs, tables, cabinets, storage units and white boards, valued at an estimated £4,000. These furnishings will be utilised to support the charity’s ongoing efforts in supporting the wider third sector and volunteers. Initially, as a common space where the team can get together, but in the new year the plan is for the space to also benefit Borders Community Action member organisations directly.

We are overwhelmed by the generosity exhibited by HR GO,” Juliana Amaral, Chief Executive Officer at Borders Community Action. “Their commitment to supporting local initiatives is a great example of how businesses can make a positive impact on communities while supporting a circular economy model. This donation will enable us to get together as a team in one central location during the week. As the bulk of the work of Borders Community Action happens across the Borders localities, having one hub for our team to work together, share learning and good practice is of fundamental importance. We also plan to have our space available to our third-sector member organisations as and when required.

We are delighted to support the good work that the Borders Community Action Group does and are therefore very pleased this furniture can go to a good use.” Roddy Barrow, Group Managing Director of HR GO plc.

This act of goodwill exemplifies HR GO’s corporate social responsibility and commitment to making a positive impact beyond its business operations. Their generosity will resonate throughout our community for years to come.

Once again, we express our heartfelt gratitude to HR GO for their invaluable contribution. We look forward to opening our space to the third sector in the new year, helping charities, community groups, volunteers and social enterprises to continue making a lasting difference in the Scottish Borders
